On December 5, 2009, fire destroyed the Weber’s Meadowcreek II house. This tragedy struck close to home, literally, only 2 houses away from the Schaniel residence.
The Webers generally liked the original house, and with that in mind, along with the fact that the foundation survived the fire, the basic floor plan was left the same. However, one area was expanded, allowing for the kitchen to be moved and expanded.
The layout of the living spaces was also opened up, removing a formerly structural wall that divided the kitchen from the living and dining spaces. Also there was generally some added space that was added to the guest bedrooms.
